It is our desire that The River be a Passionate People of Prayer. We are a church devoted to creating a culture where prayer is central to everything we do, at the core of every ministry, office and function. The Prayer Ministry offers several ways of becoming involved:

1Intercessors’ Prayer Network An email mailing list where prayer requests are circulated immediately and intercessors pray for those requests.

2Sunday Morning Pre-Service Prayer  A group gathers each Sunday morning, beginning one hour before the service, to pray for God’s presence to be powerfully evident during the worship time. We also pray for the worship leaders, teachers, and ministry participants operating throughout the morning.

3Healing Center Ministry where people come to receive prayer for healing in their body, soul, and spirit. We’ve seen many healings through this ministry of various physical ailments and diseases. Healing Center appointments can be made with LeEllen at healingprayer@theriver.info.

4Personal Prayer Ministry During and following worship services, prayer teams are available to pray with individuals for whatever their need is: healing in their bodies, deliverance from demons, wisdom, encouragement, etc.

5Saturday Morning Prayer On the first and third Saturday of each month, you can join us at The River from 9-11 a.m. for a time of prophetic worship and prayer.
