At RiverKids we desire to create an intentional space where kids feel loved, encouraged, and challenged in their faith. It’s also a place where we have a ton of FUN!
River Kids
Kids are invited to worship, play, learn and grow together as we experience Church in an age appropriate way for our Kindergarten – 5 th graders. We aim to provoke discovery in the heart of every child as we uncover the character of God through our monthly themes as well as planting biblical truths focusing on wisdom, faith and friendship.
Faith in the Home
At The River, our desire is to come alongside parents in the discipleship of their children, combining the influence of home and church for a greater impact. We want to provide opportunities for families to be empowered, equipped and encouraged as they take charge of family faith throughout the week.
A Place to Belong
With open arms, as Jesus did, we welcome families of every size and dynamic – come discover a place to belong, learn how to believe together and become the faith-driven family God designed you to be!
Nursery
Nursery and preschool care for infants through age 5 is available during service. Our volunteers are screened and supervised; our environment is clean and safe; and our desire is to help kids experience Jesus while in our care. Secure child check-in takes place in the nursery hallway, just around the corner from our sanctuary. Our littlest River friends will play, color, sing songs, and have a snack as they learn about how much God loves them. Around5/Kindergarten we will begin to transition kids from Nursery to RiverKids.
Elementary
Kids are invited to RiverKids to experience church in an exciting, fun, age specific way. And as for the rest of the week, we encourage parents to “love the Lord & teach His commands diligently” (Deuteronomy 6). We love to create opportunities for you to serve together with your kids. Throughout your child’s growing up, we celebrate with spiritual benchmarks as part of a kid-friendly discipleship track. And for you parents, we provide resources made to equip and empower you to help your little one know Jesus. Come say hi on Sunday or at the next River Family Event and let us be a part of helping your kids chase after Jesus.
