Honorary Dog

One of the best things about us dogs is the fact that we bring encouragement everywhere we go. I’ll bet you agree with me, don’t you? I am thankful that I see joy on your faces each Sunday when you see me as you walk into church. I’m not bragging. I’m just aware of my purpose – to bring encouragement to a world that is often lacking in that department. I was reading my Bible the other day and came across a guy who I’d like to make an honorary dog. ‘Tychicus, the dear brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will tell you everything, … I am sending him to you for this very purpose, that … he may encourage you” (Ephesians 6:21-22). Tychicus – a very encouraging guy. Tychicus – a very doggy kinda guy. Maybe you can be like him. Maybe you can be an honorary dog.
